The story of Bièrerie Shelton begins with the somewhat crazy dream of an amateur brewer, Darryl Shelton, who wanted to market his prize-winning creations during competitions. In 2017, Darryl and his partner Maude Bergeron decided to embark on this new professional and family adventure. Against the backdrop of a passion for craft beers, they combined their respective strengths to develop the micro-brewing project that would become Bièrerie Shelton.
Currently, our beers are created on a small pilot system in Saint-Basile-le-Grand in Montérégie, then they are brewed under contract at the Oshlag Brewery and Distillery in Montreal.
