From its creation until 2022, Brasserie Vrooden has distinguished itself by winning several Quebec and Canadian medals for its German beers and strong beers aged in oak barrels. Since 2022, it has been 100% dedicated to Korean and Japanese rice alcohols.
After distinguishing itself on the brewing scene over the last six years with a dozen medals at the Quebec and Canadian level, Brasserie Vrooden is now 100% dedicated to Asian rice alcohols. The second largest makgeolli brewer in Canada and the first sake brewer in Quebec, we make our own nuruk and koji for the production of our makgeollis and sakes.
We also use brewing methods to be faithful to the age-old traditions of these alcohols.
