Darcy and Jaron Slingerland of Farmers Own grew up on a small hobby Farm near Coaldale Alberta between helping their Dad in the field and raising animals a love for hard work and excellence were born. Jaron moved on to work on a dairy farm for a couple of years and then began working on a crop farm/feedlot for 7 years where he was hands-on from seeding to harvest and delivery.
