It was in 2005 that the Fromagerie des Cantons opened its doors to everyone’s delight. Winner of the Prix d’Excellence for the new company of the year, any category, Gala Excellence 2007.
Honored with 2 Caseus Grand Prizes in 2009 by the El Nino cheese made exclusively with milk from Jersey cows. This semi-soft, thermised cheese is matured for 75 days before it hits the shelves. Its farm aromas are not very pronounced and its washed rind is not very fragrant. It leaves a taste of fresh butter in the mouth.
