Matt Hutt and Brent Garrish of New Maritime Beer Company were born and raised in the river town of Miramichi, New Brunswick. Along with fellow childhood friend, Adam Lordon, they dreamt of opening a bar that captured the laid back and good natured spirit of the area. After years of planning they opened the first full-scale craft brewery in Miramichi.
New Maritime Beer Co is a heartfelt collaboration with a focus on making delicious beer that doesn’t take itself too seriously … because come on, it’s beer. Having fun and doing good in the community are top priority. Matt and Brent run day to day operations along with their team while Adam has ventured on to public service work. You’ll still catch him in the tap room on the weekends, enjoying a pint.
