| MacAusland’s Woolen Mills is a name synonymous on Prince Edward Island with quality craftsmanship. Family owned and operated, the business began operations as a sawmill and rollmill in 1870. In 1902, the company began producing woolen Canadian yarn and in 1932 they began producing woollen blankets. Since then, this quaint and proud family business has become known as the producer of the MacAusland Blanket. Products:

| The mill was first started in 1857 by George Lister who was one of the original grant holders in the Harvey area. Over the first 30-35 years the mill changed hands a few times. In the 1890’s it was bought by Roy Little, who ran it until 1916 when illness forced his family to move to the Prairies for a dryer climate. At this time the business was bought by Mathew Briggs and Howard Little, giving us the name, it has held to this day. Products:

| At Aberdeen’s Wool Company we are Kawartha Lakes longest running brick and mortar local Canadian made yarn shop. Located on Kent Street in Lindsay Ontario. We opened our door December 2012, and have seen our little company grow to include some fantastic developments. We have our own in house, indie dyed yarn line called “Tangled Poets” It’s inspired by free spirited knitting and my love of music and road trips. During the summer months, you will often find Amanda and I rambling around at various fibre festivals through Ontario, and usually one out of province festival a year. Products:

| In our little shop at the HighTales Alpaca Farm, we have hand-made knitted and crocheted items available, insoles made from our felts, 100% alpaca fibre dryer balls and Canadian machine-made Alpaca socks. Our yarn comes on cones from the mill and we wrap them off into 100 gram skeins or hanks. Of course they are all natural colours, some 100% alpaca, and others blended with merino or bamboo. We make our own olive oil soaps, as well. No scents or colours added, ideal for folks with sensitive skin. This year we will also have felted soaps, that is, our olive oil soap has alpaca fibre felted around the bar for a lovely exfoliating experience. Products:
