In 2018, after studying Holistic Nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, I started Herb and Garlic Nutrition, a nutrition consulting a meal planning business, but I was also making foods to sell at local Farmers Markets. I was intent on creating nutrient dense foods, using as many local and organic ingredients as possible. I use my experience and education to help others uncover and achieve a feeling of health and wellness through Wishbone Wellness.
Fast forward to this past fall, when the opportunity to purchase Wishbone Wellness came up. I knew the owners from the local nutrition and market scene (one of the previous owners is also Certified in Holistic Nutrition). As soon as I read the sale listing, I smiled to myself, said ‘hell ya’, and sent them a message right away. And here I am!
When I was struggling with my own health, I used bone broth to support my immune, gut, and hormonal health. I began making it for my family, and it was easily incorporated into our daily lifestyle. We love it because its nutritious, delicious and is packed full of bio-available protein and healthy fats. It also helps us to reduce kitchen waste by using animal bones and the entire vegetable.
