| Brown Sugar Produce is located just outside of Brandon Manitoba in the heart of the prairies. The farm is run by Stephanie Dillon and her daughter Teri Jenkins with husband Jon & daughter Myrah. We sell from our market trailer in front of Lady of the Lake Cafe on Fridays from mid-June through September, and supply weekly CSA customers in our Veggie Lovers’ Club and also a few local restaurants. We also run an 8-week microgreens CSA, the Spring Shoots Program, in March & April. Most vegetables grow well at the farm, but we are known for particularly enormous onions, super sweet carrots and rainbow carrots, field-ripened Manitoba tomatoes, as well as the freshest pickling cukes around. Stephanie also makes the best dill pickles you’ve ever tasted and Ukrainian Beet Leaf Buns, which sell out as fast as she can make them. In the winter months, we grow pea & other shoots for a steady supply of fresh, nutritious greens. We love the connection involved in direct marketing our vegetables, and take pride in knowing each customer by name and also by their favourite vegetable! | 30 years ago Paul and Karen Hamer planted Saskatoon Berry seedlings on a piece of property at the convergence of the Sheep and Highwood River, just outside of Okotoks… With horticulture backgrounds and a dream to live on the countryside working from home, they continued planting trees, shrubs, plants and seeds across the property. In time, the Farm has continued to expand from it’s organic roots to what you see now. | Gros Morne Farm & Market – Some of the best locally grown fruits, veggies, eggs, herbs, microgreens and other locally sourced/grown products delivered to your door every week from early July to mid October. We grow a wide variety of veggies that are pesticide and herbicide free. Early on in the season you can expect items such as lettuce, baby greens, spinach, radishes, microgreens, eggs, peppers, green onions. As we get further into the growing season berries, potatoes, tomatoes, herbs, cucumbers start to become plentiful.
