Buy Canadian is not a new movement. It is now however the strongest that it has ever been. This move is on for Canadians from coast to coast to help our Canadian businesses so that they can prosper and get through the hard times that are upon us. To clarify, these times are not new, but will hopefully become a permanent part of our support together with our shopping. The first movement with this in mind was actually in 1958 during a, you guessed it, trade war with the United States. Again in 2018 another trade issue sparked yet another Buy Canadian movement.
