Akuna was founded 20 years ago in Mississauga, Ontario and has since become a leading herbal supplement distributor, subsequently opening distribution offices in 17 countries spanning across 3 continents. However, despite our expansion and our achievement in becoming a trendsetter in the liquid supplement field, our initial mission and vision still remain… to bring the highest quality natural health products to as many households as possible.
We are proud of the long list of certifications accredited to our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility as well as our excellent line of products. Our production plant, for example, is both GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO 9001 registered. We are ECOCERT® certified, which is well recognized international certification of organic products and our entire product portfolio is kosher certified by the Kashruth Council of Canada (COR).
