Founded in 1960 by Jacques Beaulieu, Beau-Lieu Instantané Inc. (AP Gourmet) owes its reputation to a fabulous BBQ sauce made famous at the former Au Coq BBQ rotisserie on Labelle Street in Saint-Jérôme. The rotisserie’s Swiss chef gave the secret recipe for his delicious sauce to Jacques Beaulieu, who turned it into a commercial success. Building on that accomplishment, Beau-Lieu Instantané marketed a variety of other, equally tasty food products under the brand name BoCoq Gourmet.
All products are manufactured at our plant in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec.
