Rene Geber – Market Founder , Owner and Manager Rene is a born and raised Banffite – a rare breed! Rene is very passionate about his home town and considers himself fortunate to be able to embrace the views of the surrounding Canadian Rocky Mountains. An avid outdoorsman and adventurist, Rene is also passionate about good food and mother nature. In 2011, he decided that the best way of showing his love back to the environment that raised him, was to give the community a place to gather and to provide access to locally grown fresh food, baked goods and genuine locally made arts-and-crafts. The Banff Farmers Market was born.
