Blade Barber

Late one night in a beer league far far away, Industrial Designer Tim Maxwell decided he wanted to come up with a hand-held skate sharpener that actually works. Many years, 150 prototypes and 320 pairs of skates later, his product has officially gone into production. We worked with some serious hockey folks in our community to work out the bugs and test the sharpener with.

The Blade Barber sharpener accurately sharpens the edges on ice skates with an advanced ceramic guide plate & tungsten carbide cutter blade.
