Calgary Clay Company – My love for clay began during my pharmacy degree when I enrolled in community pottery classes as a creative escape from studying. Those early years learning in community classes built the foundation, but as my career and family grew, pottery slipped into the background. Our pace of life in Calgary felt relentless—always rushing from one thing to the next, caught in a cycle that left little room for creativity or pause.
Today, growth has been my way of leaning into slow living and choosing a more intentional path. I balance studio life with part-time work as a consultant pharmacist in diabetes care, approaching both with the same purpose: to slow down, create meaningful connection, and find joy in the process. I also love being part of the clay community and sharing my skills as a way to give back and stay connected to the craft that continues to inspire me.
