Author/illustrator Charlene Neigum grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada where she and her best friend spent their time together roller skating, drawing, making up pretend news stories and laughing until their faces hurt. Charlene thought she might one day become a journalist who wrote real news stories. She ultimately decided writing fiction stories for children would be way more fun! She still lives in Saskatchewan, Canada with her husband, three sons, a dog and a slightly evil cat that is always causing a conundrum.
