Farmer and Makers Market – Our organization, the Calgary Earth Market Society, is a grassroots nonprofit founded by local community members and vendors for the sole purpose of establishing and operating vibrant and viable Alberta Approved Farmers Markets on Calgary. We rely on the smallest possible vendor rents, a minimal seasonal staff of 1 full-time and 2 part time employees, volunteers, along with essential venue and program partnerships, community donations, and grants in order to operate. Any and all proceeds go directly back into supporting and growing our markets and programs for the benefit of local farmers & makers, and the community at large.
