At Hamel Brooms we might only make the brooms here in factory but we do not just sell brooms – we have thousands of different household items in our little factory right in the heart of downtown St. Jacobs. A wide range of cast iron, handmade wood products, local Mennonite made straw hats, stain glass, coco doormats, garden decor, locally made soy wax candles AND so much more.
Due to the wide range of items we carry we do not have all items on our website at this time – please visit the contact page with any questions and/or ordering. Our brooms are made with 100% natural corn fibers this means to please store your brooms inside – avoid getting your broom wet. This will result in your broom lasting longer. Drill a hole in the handle and put a string to hang your broom up when not in use or store it with the handle downwards to the ground. This will take the stress off being on the bristles 24/7.
