Love My Mat is a women-run, mother-daughter business based in Hamilton, Ontario. We create handcrafted yoga and meditation products and props using reclaimed materials. Love My Mat came to fruition quite literally, with a love for my mat. As a yoga student and teacher, I couldn’t find an eco-friendly yoga mat cleaner I loved. So, I made my own.
My work as a physio assistant providing yoga therapy was a pivotal time for our business. Many of my clients at the clinic and yoga studio were experiencing similar issues. Supported fish is an amazing way to open the heart and relieve tense back muscles. The thing was, the bolsters available were just too wide. And an idea was born.
Most of us spend hours sitting. So, we began creating products to address the needs of modern bodies and we quickly knew we were onto something. Our Long & Lean Bolsters are our best-selling product. They are versatile, beautiful and will become a staple of your yoga and meditation practice for years to come.
