Lowrie Leathercraft

My name is Brent Lowrie. I’m a father, husband, retired Canadian Armed Forces Captain, highland piper and leather craftsman and creator of Lowrie Leathercraft. I live in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada with my family and two cats. Known for its spectacular scenery, outdoor recreation, wineries, and fruit orchards, Kelowna is nestled in the sunny Okanagan Valley on the shore of Okanagan Lake. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Although I am an animator by trade, I love working with my hands, especially with leather. I use centuries-old tools and techniques to produce rustic and rugged everyday carry (EDC) leather goods. All of my leather goods are hand cut and hand stitched; built-to-order and built to last a lifetime. Using only full-grain leather and solid metal hardware, I strive for perfection in everything I do and it’s reflected in the quality of my work.
