MegaDome – Founded in 1965 as Irrigation St. Thomas, MegaDome’s parent company, Harnois, began by specializing in irrigation systems and agricultural equipment. By 1968, we expanded into greenhouse manufacturing, and in 1971, under the leadership of Rolland Harnois and Yves Harnois, we designed Quebec’s first gutter-connected greenhouse complex. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, we led the Canadian market by introducing innovative greenhouse technologies, from circulation tubes for heating to natural ventilation tunnel structures.
As our reputation grew, we became the first North American company to use oval tubes in greenhouse manufacturing in 1982, and in 1999, we launched the MegaDome® division, expanding our offerings to include fabric buildings. Over the years, we have entered markets across North America, Mexico, Japan, and beyond, all while maintaining our commitment to innovation and quality.
Today, MegaDome continues to build on Harnois’ legacy of success, providing custom fabric building solutions that reflect decades of industry expertise and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
