muttmixx all started when my dog Kevin Bacon was attacked by another dog and almost lost his leg. After a lengthy surgery and repair to keep his leg, it was shared he may need pain or arthritis medications in order to keep his healthy, active lifestyle. The recipe was created and he started out with the first cookie blend Carrot and Chia 3x a day. Within a week Kevin was showing signs of relief, pain free and in 3 weeks back to his healthy active lifestyle. 4 years later Kevin Bacon is still not taking any medications for his arthritis. He is now the muttmixx ambassador.
After seeing Kevin’s health progress in many ways beyond his leg I decided to do a post on social media to see if anyone would be interested in trying them I received over 40 replies and the name muttmixx was organically created. 3 years later I have won Business of the Year, 6 awards for best Pet Treat across Ontario and have moved into my own Barkery space with Woodland Raw Pet Food where we have a store selling Raw Food, our cookies, and various pet decor and accessories from other PAWesome small businesses.
