On October 1, 2015, after 14 months of development, Noctem Artisans Brasseurs opened its doors on rue du Parvis in Quebec City as a brewpub. It wasn’t without a good dose of stress that this project, which included a full restaurant offering as well as a craft brewery, opened its doors with a team of completely inexperienced owners. Since the opening, hard work has allowed us to offer our customers the best products and the best possible experience with us.
Starting in October 2017, with an autonomous and efficient brewpub team, work began on finding a location to establish a canned beer production plant. This project will be launched in December 2018 on Vincent-Massey Street in the Saint-Malo district of Quebec City. The products brewed there are mostly recent IPA recipes such as Catnip, representing a large proportion of the plant’s production. These products quickly found buyers and will justify an increase in the initial capacity of 250,000L in December 2018 to more than double following the expansion in April 2020.
Despite all these developments and the associated learnings, what drives us remains the hard and perpetual work to improve our processes and our products to offer our customers quality craft beer that they can then enjoy and share!
