Original Art by April – As an artist, April experiments with colour intensity and monochromatic themes. Using sepia or grey, she seeks to create emotion in the absence of colour. Or applying child-like bright colour to a painting that represents a serious social issue, she creates a playful first glimpse of a deeper message, whether fighting homphobia, misogyny or ageism, April interprets the world through her art and attempts to create a message in addition to utilising her training and skills as an artist.
