Ortner Brand began after a lengthy hunt for products that were cruelty-free, natural and vegetarian-friendly, but finding that sourcing these products was sometimes challenging. These product hunts usually resulted in me returning home with extremely expensive bars of soap or other products that I was not always happy with.

Our products are natural, cruelty-free (we only test on humans!), vegetarian or vegan friendly and are created in small batches to ensure quality. We began in beautiful British Columbia and is now based in scenic Nova Scotia.
