Since the dawn of time, there have been home brewers in East Van who were crazy enough to think they could start their own brewery and by some miracle, actually make it a success. This isn’t that kind of story though. The story of Parallel 49 is a story of ordinary people with extraordinary ideas. It’s a story of hope, hyperbole and hops, of visions and determination, of outrage and artistry, of sacrifice and sacrilege. Come on in and have a brew.
