The idea for Pearl House Farm began in 2009, when I (Zachary) met my now lovely wife Laura in London, UK. Love blossomed and we soon moved into a small flat with a balcony together. Here we quickly discovered two things: firstly, we both loved the outdoors, and secondly, we had a mutual interest for animals and growing things in the dirt.
And this is were Laura started her first blog about growing vegetables in small spaces and pots, called ‘The Little Balcony’……and where I found my passion for all things green! Our main goal was to combine our love of growing with the kitchen, as all produce grown within the garden was used to make jams, jellies and must more.
