Hello, my name is Lesley. I am the designer and artisan behind Prairie Lily Stitches. I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and my family and I have made our home in Regina. I have been sewing most of my life. I learned how to hand sew from my grandmother as a child and I was hooked. As an adult I started making my own clothes and found a new love.
I started my sewing business, originally Dressed By Les, in 2008. I first set up in our basement. Back then I took almost any order that came my way, everything from alterations to recovering patio cushions. Over time I started to make things for myself and my family and realized that so many others would love them as much as I did. Like the Bapron, one of the first products I made and still one of my biggest selling items.
