Sara’s Soaps and Candles (now Stop & Smell the Candles) began in 2016 as a creative endeavor, fueled by my love for scent and the memories it evokes. What started as a small passion project has grown into a collection of hand-poured candles inspired by the places I’ve explored.
Traveling across Canada, I’ve been captivated by the fresh ocean air of the East Coast, the crisp alpine forests of the Rockies, and the warm, nostalgic scents of prairie summers (scent coming soon!). My mission is to bring these experiences home to you—so that with every candle, you can be transported to your favorite places or discover somewhere new.
Each candle is made with 100% soy wax and carefully curated fragrance blends, poured in small batches in my Toronto & Cobourg studios. Whether you’re drawn to coastal breezes, mountain woods, or cozy comforts, there’s a scent waiting to become part of your story.
