Sollum Technologies – While they were students at the École de technologie supérieure in Montréal, François Roy-Moisan, Gabriel Dupras and Jacques Poirier put together a lighting system designed for painting restoration. It could recreate the light of the period at which the piece was created so that the restoration was as close to the original coloring as possible, all the while protecting it from discoloration.
A family member thought of using it to grow produce in a controlled environment. No doubt about it, the many facets of culture played a preponderant role in the genesis of our company, which was officially founded in 2015!
Sollum’s future-proof and cost-efficient technology adapts to change without calling on nature’s ressources to produce new fixtures or design software.
