The Gander Bread Box & Cafe opened its doors December 8, 2009 with just bread… after all it was supposed to be a bread shop. Steve only starting making bread a few months before we opened our doors. Well that first couple of weeks we soon realized that we had to have baked goods as well.
So over the next year we started baking…. None of us are bakers!! Really this started with an idea and grew from there… Well we started out with bread and now we have a full range of baked goods, a full hot lunch menu which includes our touton burgers, along with soups, subs. sandwiches.
