| We are Dean and Sylvia Kreutzer. We have always been fruit lovers; Dean’s earliest memories was of picking saskatoons. Sylvia remembers wading through the river to get to the wild blueberry patch up north. But honestly, isn’t that about all the tree fruit we think we can grow here in Saskatchewan? | Our Ontario production facility is located in Stayner, Ontario, 145 km North of Toronto. This facility houses production facilities for all of our product lines as well as a modern warehouse. This is the site upon which John Reinhart founded the company, and Reinhart Foods remains committed to the area. Our Quebec production facility is located in Chambly, 20 minutes South of Montreal. This facility has both vinegar production and warehousing facilities. Our Western production facility is located in Vancouver, B.C. Our Stayner Plant produces white and specialty vinegars as well as numerous baking ingredients (maraschino cherries, glace fruit, coconut, dates, raisins) for both industrial and retail. | In March 2014, the Fedosoff’s purchased this wonderful riverfront property which not only included a beautiful home but an established APPLE ORCHARD! We were shocked, along with many others, that full-size tasty apples can successfully be grown in Saskatchewan. In four short years, we have expanded our product line (approximately 50 now), renovated the country store, purchased a clay oven, started offering weekend, school and group tours and further improved the land to include over 1.5 km of beautiful walking trails and riverfront picnic area for all to enjoy. | Cherry And Berry Delight is located in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan. We love sour cherries, Saskatoon berries and other berries that are grown in Saskatchewan. We love Saskatoon berries. We have been cooking and baking with berries for so long we decided we needed more people to use these berries in their cooking. Especially the special sour cherry. We use the Dwarf Sour Cherry, the Carmine Jewel. This tart sour cherry was released by the University of Saskatchewan to be grown on the Prairies. It is such a delicious sour cherry. | Our first Haskap berry seedlings were planted at Aumack Berry Ranch in 2008 and we currently have 1000 Haskaps, of which 700 will be in production for 2014. It is also known as “Blue Honeysuckle, Honeyberry, Edible Honeysuckle and Sweetberry honeysuckles.” Most people mistakenly group haskap as a new type of blueberry but haskap’s closest fruit relation is the tomatoe. Haskap fruit production is a new and developing industry in Canada. The original varieties of these fruits released to the Canadian fruit industry produced quite a small bitter fruit. The new varieties that are being developed from the U of S are being branded as ‘Haskap’ because our Japanese cooperators considered them to be of high enough quality to be used in the Japanese market.
