After working in the industry internationally, founders Christopher and Sydney Seggie returned home to the east coast of Canada to start a different kind of eyewear company. Specializing in design and prototyping, short-run production, and custom handmade eyewear. With a focus on sustainable manufacturing fellow earthlings have developed an exclusive in house acetate recycling program, reprocessing would be waste material in a traditional manufacturing environment into 1/1 frames. From their seaside workshop fellow earthlings offer handmade to order custom sunglasses, giving customers the opportunity to select their own shape, material and lens combinations. At the same time fellow earthlings has returned eyewear manufacturing to P.E.I., which at one time had a thriving industry making product for major brands from ray-ban to ralph Lauren in the late 1980’s.
