| Priscilla is a beekeeper whose shift towards sustainability has led to functional and minimal waste creations. When her ducklings spread their wings and left home, she morphed into a “Queen Bee” and established more hives for her newly adopted dependents. What started as a small collaboration with community partners has blossomed into the lively business we know today. | Founder Amy Hall is an art historian and ocean lover who was able to combine both her passions in Goldilocks Wraps. After volunteering with a shark conservation program in the South Pacific she was devastated by the ocean plastics problem globally. This compelled Amy to start her journey towards zero waste which, in turn, inspired her to start her ever growing business. Each reusable beeswax wrap is made individually by hand in small batches. From the washing and cutting of the cotton, to waxing piece by piece, to folding and packaging, we do it all ourselves. Each wrap is held to the highest of quality standards and infused with an extra dose of love. The average person uses over 2000 square feet of plastic every year, and while our main goal is to help reduce this to zero, one of the added bonuses of our wraps is that they will actually keep your food fresh for longer! | Our Planet Wrap reusable food wraps are 100% percent cotton infused with 100% locally sourced beeswax beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin. Our goal is not only to reduce plastic waste by eliminating the need for cling film and ziplock bags, but also to reduce food waste. The ingredients we use for our wraps are antimicrobial and antibacterial so they have a preservative effect on our food. They are using honey in the hospitals for wound healing and so Beeswax has some of the same healing and antimicrobial properties that honey has.
