Mulder Cattle Company – Our cattle are raised, bred and finished on our family farm. They are rotationally grazed, moving from one section of pasture to the next up to 4 times/day. This method of grazing ensures the cattle enjoy premium grasses and supports sustainability of the grasses for continued growth of both the land and plants and the animals that graze the land.

The pasture lands consist of a wide variety of grasses, legumes, and forbs. The variety of plants are important to meet the nutritional needs of the herd. Pasture lands that are not grazed are left to grow to allow for cutting, drying, raking and baling. These grass bales are reserved for the winter feeding when the pasture grass is frozen off and under the snow.
