| I moved to Montreal in 2009 to study design and once I had 2 diplomas in hand, I spent 8 years working in event & exhibition design. When the pandemic hit, I decided it was time to let my second passion shine: stained glass and the Heart of Stained Glass was born. I’m a full-time stained glass artist since Fall 2020 and it’s been an incredible journey. I feel very lucky to have found a second career that I love just as much as my original one. I make pieces I love that challenge my creative abilities and my ladies have always been among my best-loved pieces. The changing seasons inspire me to come up with new designs and old favourites. | Fall River based glass artist, Lori Nason of Fused Glass Diva, has been honing techniques in reversed enamel painting on fused glass for over a decade. Traditionally, reverse painting on glass is a “cold art” form of applying oil paint to glass and then turning the glass over to look through the glass at the image. Lori creates a modern twist to this ancient art form by using glass enamels and adding 1400F! Layers of glass, multiple stages of enameling, in combination with heat and gravity, result in intensely coloured animated glass designs with a quirky folk-art physicality. | Born in Toronto Ontario, Cathy Murchison/Krolikowski now calls Point Prim Prince Edward Island home, where her family roots go back many generations to the Selkirk settlers from the Isle of Skye in Scotland, thus the name Kro In The Skye Art Studio. Her art studio and gallery overlook the beautiful Northumberland Strait on ancestral land just a mile from the historical Point Prim Lighthouse where her grandfather was a keeper for 35 years, She finds no shortage of inspiration from the natural surroundings at her doorstep in this breathtaking place she calls home.
