Our story at Fromagerie L’Ancêtre begins in Centre-du-Québec, in 1986, when a number of dairy farmers decided to change their production methods. They wanted to work in an environmentally friendly way and treat the land as a living organism. In other words, they wanted to farm organically. Santorini Dairies Inc. has its headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In the early 1960’s many Manitoba restaurant and hotel owners needed quality dairy products, such as assortments of rare, or more well-known, European cheeses, dips, and yogurts, and often had to import them.
